ROKA Multisport Gear

There’s a lot that goes into engineering the fastest, most comfortable wetsuits on the planet - but suffice it to say, we’ve cracked the code. 

Every ROKA wetsuit is built with our patented ARMS-UP® Technology, a leg-focused buoyancy profile, and quick-release panels at the wrists and ankles to make your swim as effortless as possible.

You might start by viewing the comparison chart on our website, HERE. The Elite and Pro are similar in fit. However, the Elite is made from a knit material that is heavier and not as compressive, and it has the traditional zipper with a lanyard versus the autolocking zipper.

The Pro is made from a stretch-woven material, making it lighter weight and more compressive in the legs, as well as an auto-lock zipper which eliminates the need for a lanyard.

The Viper X adds modifications to the arm holes making the suit more comfortable and thermobonded taping on the inside that will add incredible support to the core. It's important to note that the taping makes the Viper X the least flexible suit. It's common for athletes to go up a size in this model.

When putting on your wetsuit, take your time to ensure that you are putting the suit on correctly. We recommend using the pads of your fingers while wearing the provided gloves to prevent ripping. A well-fitting suit can take up to 10-15 minutes to put on.

Here are step-by-step instructions on how to properly put on your ROKA Multisport wetsuit:

  1. After putting on the white gloves included with your wetsuit, place one leg into the suit at a time. Be sure to position your foot in the wetsuit by pointing your toes to prevent tearing the ankle panel.
  2. It is best to bring the suit up about mid-calf to ensure you have ample room to bring the suit up as far as possible. Once the suit is mid-calf, align the [1] marker to the center of the kneecaps.
  3. Continue to pull the suit up over the torso and onto each arm and adjust the neoprene up around the elbow to align the [2] marker to the inside of the elbow.
  4. Next pull the material into each armpit and align the [3] marker on top of the shoulder.

Yes, we recommend swimming in your new wetsuit to ensure a comfortable fit in the water. A wetsuit will fit snug outside the water, but will loosen up once in the water. You will still be able to return the wetsuit should it not work out as long as the wetsuit is returned within our 30 day return/exchange window. 

When putting on your swimskin, be sure to use the pads of your fingers, not your fingernails, to prevent any rips. Start with putting the suit on your lower body; pulling the leg panels up past each knee and into the crotch, leaving as little excess space as possible.

Pull the suit up and over the torso and slip arms in, pulling the material into each armpit and zip up the back of the suit! From there, flip the zipper down to lock it in place.

To remove the suit, flip the zipper up and pull the fabric apart at the shoulders to slide the zipper open.

Neoprene is a delicate material and small tears and abrasions are common but easy to repair!

Small tears can be repaired with wetsuit seal cement and makes the spot more resilient to future abrasions. We recommend Aquaseal Neoprene Contact Cement.

Maverick wetsuits are high-performance garments made with top-end materials that can deteriorate more quickly than products made with cheaper materials. This is a conscious trade-off we make for ultimate performance, because cheaper and sometimes longer-lasting materials often do not have the same performance characteristics. That said, here are some tips on how to properly care for your suit to prevent damage and increase its lifespan.

After Each Use

  • It is very important to thoroughly rinse your wetsuit with cool, fresh water after each use
  • Once removed from the water, you want to completely dry your suit by hanging it, ideally on a wetsuit hanger.
  • Dry the suit inside out and turn it back to ride side in for storage.

End of Season

We recommend soaking your wetsuit in clean water for 10-15 minutes. It is a good idea to invest in shampoo specially designed for cleaning and preserving wetsuits.

You will also want to check your suit for small tears. These are common and easy to fix using a wetsuit-specific cement or glue.

Storage

Wetsuit material can develop a permanent crease if left folded for an extended period of time. It is best to store your wetsuit lying flat. If that is not possible, you can hang your suit on a wetsuit hanger.

Do not keep your wetsuit in the garage if the garage is used to park a vehicle. The exhaust emissions from the vehicle can over time deteriorate the neoprene.

Our wetsuit sizing is based on height and weight. If you find you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up as our wetsuits are designed to have a compressive fit. The wetsuit should feel tight while dry and will loosen in the water.

Your wetsuit should fit snuggly in order to maximize thermal protection and performance. There should not be excess amounts of loose-fitting material. If the suit is too large, it will most likely take on more water and begin to “pool,” which will reduce performance and slow you down. These issues would indicate that your wetsuit is too large.

Also, your wetsuit should not decrease your mobility or make it difficult to breathe while swimming. These issues would indicate that your wetsuit is too small.

A swimskin is meant to be worn over your tri suit for the swim portion of a race that isn’t wetsuit-legal. They are very specific high-performance garments not meant to be worn alone like traditional swimwear. We recommend wearing a tri kit or swimsuit underneath. Tri kits are designed to be worn throughout the race as a base layer and are made with all 3 events in mind. 

Our triathlon kits are made with the finest performance materials. Here are some tips to improve their longevity:

-Rinse in cold water with mild detergent.

-Hang dry only.

-Do not iron or put in a dryer.

In order to keep the factory coating working properly for as long as possible, it's important to avoid touching the inside of the lenses. It is good practice to rinse the lenses out with fresh water after your swim to prevent mineral buildup that can become abrasive.

Warranty Policy

We're excited to provide a 2-year warranty - see below for full details! If you would like us to look into a potential warranty claim, you can fill out a contact form here (be sure to include your order number, photos of the issue and your current shipping address).

Please note, it is ROKA's sole discretion to repair or replace products. Additionally, we are unable to provide warranty assistance for gear not purchased through our website or an un-authorized third-party retailer. If you’d like to verify whether your gear is purchased from an authorized source, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to assist.

What Is Not Covered

  • Neoprene surface damage or tears
  • Pinch, pressure, or fingernail tears
  • Melting due to exposure to excessive heat
  • Discoloration due to sun exposure or excessive use
  • Degradation or delamination of materials due to exposure to chlorine, bromine, pool chemicals or other chemicals, UV, salt water, etc
  • Surface rips or abrasions caused by normal wear and tear
  • Incidental damage
  • Wearing off of surface treatments (e.g. goggle anti-fog coating)
  • Shipping charges on international orders 
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Delaminated bonded garments caused by exposure to a washer/dryer or iron or other form of heat
  • Failures including but not limited to: blown seams, blown elastic or ripped goggle straps or swim caps due to excessive or long-term usage 

Wetsuit Modifications

If you have modified your wetsuit or other ROKA Multisport product, outside of our shop, and the modifications adversely affect the integrity and/or performance of your ROKA Multisport product, causing it to fail, then it should be noted that our warranty will not cover your modifications. We will, however, continue to cover the parts of your ROKA Multisport product that are left unaffected by your modification.

For example: If you have a ROKA Multisport wetsuit and cut the legs of the suit to better fit the length of your legs, then our warranty will continue to cover everything except the part of the legs that you cut. But if, for example, your modification causes the seam to tear further up the suit, we won't be liable.

Our 2-year Gear Warranty also applies to discounted items purchased through our Outlet. Please note that items listed as "Open-Box" are separate from regular Outlet items, and only covered with a limited, 6-month warranty.


This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state. In no event shall ROKA or any of its third party suppliers be liable for consequential, incidental, special, indirect or direct damages unless this warranty agreement is inconsistent with the local law. If this warranty agreement is inconsistent with local law, the warranty shall be deemed modified to be consistent with the local law. In the event of legal action, all claims or disputes under this warranty agreement shall be contested in the courts of the State of Texas. 

Return Policy

Domestic (US) Orders:
You can start a return through our Return and Exchange Portal. We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of receipt. Please note that the following fees may be withheld from refunds:

  • A return shipping fee (usually $5-10)
  • The credit card processing fee from your order (roughly 3% of the order value that is kept by the credit card processor)

For most orders, we offer the ability for these fees to be waived by selecting store credit instead of a direct refund.
When returning multiple orders, please make sure each item is shipped using the return label associated with the correct product. Shipping items with mixed-up labels may result in refunds not being issued correctly.

International Orders:
For international orders, please contact us to initiate a return for a refund or store credit that can be used toward a future purchase!
We do not cover return shipping costs for international orders or accept exchanges through our US site. We do not have control over duties and taxes for return shipments, and customers may be responsible for paying such fees if and when they are enforced by customs agencies.

Open-Box, Outlet, and/or Final-Sale Items: Any open-box items, items from our outlet store, or items otherwise marked "Final Sale" will be restricted to exchanges or store credit only. For any additional questions or concerns regarding returns, please visit our help center here.


Timing of Refunds:
Refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days from when they arrive at our returns handling facility. You may follow your return tracking number to see when your package is delivered.

Customers in the US are welcome to initiate a return or exchange through our returns portal!

At the end of this process, we'll generate a prepaid return label for you to put on the outside of the box. See below for some helpful tips on packing your return item:

1) Place merchandise in the original packaging if possible, and place the generated return shipping label on top of the original shipping label.

2) Ensure all items are thoroughly dry, remove any sand or debris, and fold carefully to avoid unnecessary damage/wrinkles in shipment. If possible, include the original packaging.

3) Drop it at the corresponding carrier as listed on the prepaid return label that you will print out.

4) Make sure to note the tracking number for your return package in case there is a problem with transit or delivery.

Once your return is delivered, we will process your return within 5-7 business days. 

For international returns (including UK & EU orders), please send your package to the address below and include your order number on the first line. Once you’ve shipped it, send an email our way with the tracking number so we can process your refund quickly.

If you don’t have the original packaging, similar packaging will do. Ensure all items are dry, sand-free, and neatly folded to avoid damage.

Exchange Policy

If you ordered from our US website and your order was shipped to a US address, we are happy to accept exchanges! We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of receipt.

Please visit our exchange portal to initiate your exchange! If the item you're seeking isn't available or out of stock, we recommend returning your gear for store credit or a full refund.

If you are an international customer and ordered through our US website, we aren't able to set up an exchange at this time - the good news is we are happy to accept a return for a full refund. From there you'd be free to repurchase your desired product!

US Order Management & Shipping

ROKA Multisport ships to all 50 U.S. states, Washington D.C., U.S. Territories, and Minor Outlying Islands. We offer free ground shipping to the 48 contiguous United States on orders of $150 and more. We also ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

Ground shipping requires 2-7 business days in transit once shipped (5-10 business days for Alaska or Hawaii). 2-Day is delivered within 2 business days once shipped.

Please keep in mind that all orders are subject to a processing and fulfillment window.

Shipments to P.O. Box addresses in the U.S. must select Ground shipping. These shipments can only be delivered by USPS and will be automatically changed to a USPS carrier method. P.O. Box deliveries typically take 5 - 10 business days.

Shipments to U.S. territories, Minor Outlying Islands, and APO/FPO addresses will ship with USPS Priority International. They will arrive within 6-10 business days from the ship date.

ROKA Multisport orders are subject to a typical fulfillment window of 1-3 business days before shipment.

Tracking is provided for all orders and is sent to the email address used to place the order.

While we only guarantee delivery only to the address provided at the time your order is placed, there may be a small window for us to accommodate a change of address.

If your package is lost or you are having trouble locating your package after it has been marked delivered, please use the report issue card in our Help Center to reach us. 

This will prompt you to sign in to your rokamultisport.com account, and from there you can submit a lost/stolen/damaged claim for your order. We'll be in touch as quickly as possible from there!

If your product arrived damaged or the wrong item was received, we'll want to get it sorted for you as quickly as possible! Please use our report issue card in our help center to start a claim.

Int'l Order Management & Shipping

ROKA Multisport ships to most countries around the world!

For international orders placed via our U.S. website, we ship from our U.S. fulfillment center using UPS Worldwide Express Saver. Average delivery time is 2 - 4 business days but may be longer due to customs.

Please note when ordering from our U.S. website, customers are responsible for ALL duties and local taxes. Duties and taxes are paid upfront. If you are looking to ship to countries within the UK or EU, you also have the option of purchasing gear through our EU and UK sites!

If returning an international order, shipping, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

We are unable to mark items as “gift” or “sample” to lessen duty charges.

When purchasing through our US site, taxes and duties are calculated upon checkout.

Outlet Sales

The ROKA Multisport Outlet Store offers incredible deals for previous generation and open-box gearperfect for upgrading your race kit or adding to your training collection. 

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Pricing may vary by size or color.
  • Exchanges & returns are eligible for store credit, but outlet items cannot be refunded directly.
  • One discount only! Outlet pricing cannot be combined with other offers.
  • Past purchases can’t be retroactively discounted at outlet prices.
  • Sizes may change daily, but we make it easy with clear signposting like "Small Sizes Only."
  • Open-Box items are demo or returned productsinspected and ready to perform at elite levels, but may have cosmetic blemishes or minor repairs.
  • Our 2-year Gear Warranty applies to discounted items purchased through our Outlet. Please note, Open-Box items have a limited 6-month warranty.

It all comes down to available inventory, which will always be reflected accurately on our site (updated every day).

Normal sale items are generally newer styles or colorways, and Outlet items typically include discontinued items that will be taken off the shelf. 

All items on our site maintain the same high-quality, high-performance features that ROKA Multisport is known for!

Most of the items in the Outlet are limited inventory and are not scheduled to be replenished. If the items do go out of stock in the Outlet, they will not come back in stock. 

Please note outlet prices are while supplies last and we're not able to honor outlet prices for out of stock or discontinued items.

We run Outlet sales intermittently throughout the year, but they do not have a set schedule.
